Nowadays, bankruptcies make up only 5–10% of our activities. The other auctions take place in situations such as business closures. Additionally, other companies use Troostwijk Auctions as their primary sales channel or, for example, when machines need to be replaced.

In bankruptcies, we offer an exceptionally high level of service. Often, everything is left behind on the day of the court ruling, after which we immediately start clearing the premises, organizing the lots, and collecting content. Then, the viewing day, the online auction, and the pickup or delivery day take place. In many cases, we also deliver the premises “broom clean.”

Our goal is to achieve the highest possible financial result so that the creditors in the bankruptcy receive the best possible repayment, as in the case of the bankruptcy of Hoondert Staalbouw B.V. in Kapelle. Rolling stock, lifting equipment, aerial work platforms, and other heavy equipment are being sold. It is a large auction with an estimated hammer revenue exceeding one million. The auction will close at the end of March 2025.
