At Troostwijk Auctions we continuously work on improvements that make our platform smarter, more user-friendly, and more successful for both sellers and buyers. Below you will find the key developments at this time.
Broker app
A few days ago our new Broker App went live. This is an important step toward our goal of bringing more unique B2B supply to the platform. Over the past months we have worked closely with our Product team to tailor the app to the way of working at Troostwijk Auctions.
What does this mean for you as a seller?
The app helps our brokers work faster and more efficiently. As a result, we can process new leads more quickly and secure higher-quality supply. Ultimately this leads to a larger and more relevant buyer audience for your lots.
Payment verification
The first version of our payment verification has also gone live. This new step helps reduce the number of non-paying buyers and improves the reliability of the bidding process.
New users link a payment method to their account immediately after registration. We are starting with a small percentage of registrations, focusing on consumer accounts. If the results are positive, we will expand this to all new consumers.
What does this mean for you as a seller?
This improvement raises the quality of our bidder base. That means fewer non-paying buyers, faster settlement of sales, and a more reliable selling experience on Troostwijk Auctions.
Homepage, lot page, and search/filter
The homepage will soon receive a refreshed look and feel, just like the lot detail page. These improvements strengthen the positioning of Troostwijk Auctions as Europe’s leading industrial auction house.
We are also continuously improving our search and filter functions, helping bidders find what they are looking for more quickly and easily. Categories are now displayed more clearly, and the search function now supports special characters (such as hyphens and apostrophes), allowing users to search with greater precision.
What does this mean for you as a seller?
A more user-friendly website helps bidders find your lots more easily and access better information. This increases the likelihood of more bids and a higher return per lot.
Featured auctions
On the homepage, we are replacing the carousel with a featured auctions section showcasing three auctions: one primary auction and two secondary ones. Visitors can go directly to the full auction or click on a lot image to view that specific lot.
What does this mean for you as a seller?
The refreshed homepage and featured auctions make it easier for bidders to notice your lots, navigate quickly and make informed decisions. This increases the chances of more bids and higher sales results.
