Platform updates – what’s new for you as a seller

At Troostwijk Auctions we continuously improve our platform to make it smarter, easier to use, and more successful for both sellers and buyers. Below you will find the most relevant updates from this year so far, and what they mean for you.

Saved searches now work harder for your lots

Buyers can now opt in to receive email notifications when new lots match their saved searches and selected filters. Saved searches are also accessible site-wide via the header, making them easy to revisit and reuse at any time.

What does this mean for you as a seller?

Your lots are now automatically matched with buyers who have already shown interest in similar items. This brings motivated buyers back to the platform, increases repeat traffic, and helps generate earlier and more consistent bidding activity.

Reserve price filter added to category pages

Buyers can now filter lots by reserve price directly on category pages, in addition to search results. This makes browsing more efficient and helps buyers quickly find lots that match their bidding preferences.

What does this mean for you as a seller?

Your lots become easier to discover by the right audience, including buyers who specifically look for reserve-free opportunities. Better filtering leads to more relevant traffic and stronger bidding engagement.

Smarter lot recommendations

We improved how recommended lots are displayed while buyers browse the platform. Recommendations are now more relevant and better aligned with buyer interests.

What does this mean for you as a seller?

Your lots gain additional visibility beyond search and category browsing. By showing buyers items that closely match their interests, we increase the likelihood of additional views, cross-bidding, and competitive bidding activity.

Faster, more accurate address entry

We introduced smart address suggestions during buyer registration. As users type, they can select and autofill their address, reducing manual entry errors and improving accuracy.

What does this mean for you as a seller?

Fewer incorrect addresses mean fewer delivery issues, fewer support cases, and a smoother post-sale process. This helps reduce friction after a successful auction and contributes to faster and more reliable settlements.
